Undefynd’s short biography

Undefynd who is born Mary Motsi ,is multi-genre fusion Artist.She majors in hip hop, dancehall, reggae.As a vocalist ,she is a singer, rapper and chanter. Also a creative lyrics composer, beat composer and arranger.Above all she is a daughter, sister, wife and mother.

Undefynd practises music as a form of art with the aim to entertain,educate , empower and unite the listeners. This is a woman who represents a new and forgotten generation of creative and innovative female musicians who are not limited to their beauty and bodies only.

She started music professionally in the year 2012 and now has 3 albums and 2 singles compilations to this date.

She has performed live and online at various festivals,benefit and private concerts, big and small namely the Africa Unite annual festival and The Soweto Reggae annual Youth’s festival.Alongside some established and non established artists from local and other African countries such as Mannex and the Mo familee and Luciano the messenger.Her music is available on all digital stores.Undefynd is also available on social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,Tiktok and YouTube as “Undefynd Musiq”.

Since the release of genre fusion album “Musinion” in November of 2023,Undefynd has managed to gunner award nominations in Ghana Highest Entertainment Awards (HEA), for Best Reggae dancehall artist ,best album,best collaboration and best female in reggae dancehall. Recently,she has also been recognized in the announced South African Basadi in Music Awards (BIMA) under the category Reggae artist of the year.

This album’s creative sound is creating a new urban and evolutionary stir in different countries and promises to go further.It was produced by Exalate Livan of Livan Musiq who is currently based in South Africa.Musinion (the album) carries 11 songs in total,9 solo and 2 collaboration songs.

“Musinion” as the name states demonstrates the unity of and in music.The coming together, union of different sounds, from different places to form the art of music.This is an album that compliments who I am and what I represent hence my name “Undefynd”.I am a union of different forms of art.You will find a little bit of everything and defining me is something that won’t work.
