UGMA was formed in 2017 in response to the lack of opportunities available for underground artists trying to break into the main stream of the digital music industry.

Founder, Executive Director, Script Writter for Siyakha Performing Artists a community based theatre group.
Founding `Member Chairperson of Machibisa Youth Development (MYD).
Owner and Manager of Hlophe Eating House which played an important role in employing underground artists deejays musicians and producers in the capital city of KZN Pietermaritzburg.
Founder and CEO of Amigos Music Productions now known as Amigos Records where he has been instrumental in nurturing underground talent such as TeeR Quelonke Madida no Madiza Kasi Flavour Bishop Nkosi Spider No Musa Ndisoh Ayah Sina The Producer Sthah Quality Lavista Pique Sir Cue MellBeatz & Mthaimix Chris Cartoon Epic Lungsta DjSmoe Zookie M The Dust to name just a few.
He has done a Marketing Management Diploma (FET) Business Administration Degree at Durban University of Technology(DUT).
His Passion for Youth Development and that of Underground Artists, Mentoring, Teaching, Hosting Big Events where he has given Underground Artists a chance to share the stage with the likes of Black Coffee Oskido Black Motion DjBongs DjSox Tkzee Vumar Mondli and DjMerlon to name just a few has helped motivate and inspire a lot of Deejays and Artists.
He is a member of the Cultural and Creative Industry Federation of South Africa, Samro and Risa.
The Main Aim Of UGMA is to passionately & positively develop the underground music scene into a feasible commercial sphere for underground artists. To end the explotation and abuse of underground artists from established artists and record company executive, record labels.
